little things

my inspo for this session- my film camera. its honestly my favorite camera, so i tend to use it to document my personal life. the reason- it keeps me present in the moment. i have no idea how the photo turned out, if my smile is cute, i don't even know if the settings were correct. so i take the photo, and carry on. and thats the beauty of it. there's no worrying about how i look, or retaking it because a biker rode past in the middle of the shot.

i wanted to be able to give that feeling to someone who would truly appreciate an experience as such. who better than a family. parents who constantly watch their most prized possessions change and grow with every blink.  this session is to keep you in the moment with your loved ones, so everything is staged with simplicity. a few hanging sheets, some jeans, and carefree spirits.
